CHARLESTON, S.C. – While Kenny Chesney is known for his high impact stadium shows, he takes every bit as much delight in the way a night under the stars feels with the intimacy of a handful of very special smaller outdoor venue plays. Having long been a favorite of No Shoes Nation, the man The Los Angeles Times called “The People’s Superstar” comes to Charleston’s Credit One Stadium on May 25th for a show that will define summer.

“There is nothing like the way a night in a smaller stadium unfolds,” Chesney says of the just announced show. “It’s friends, fun, the music floating out there – and there’s a closeness that you can’t get at a bigger show. It’s still full-on, but there’s also this sense that the songs really get to shine.”

Joining Chesney will be Here And Now 2022 tour mate Carly Pearce, the reigning Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year and reigning Academy of Country Music Single of the Year and Music Event of the Year plus 2020 CMA Musical Event of the Year winner for “I Hope You’re Happy Now”. Pearce, who was also nominated for CMA Album of Year for 29, works from the same small-town truths and true country palette as Chesney, creating a perfect pairing.

“We like to make these nights special,” Chesney says. “When it’s one of these smaller venues where we know the people really listen as well as have fun, it’s always great to turn people on to a new artist they may not be as familiar with. Carly is a voice that’s going to matter – and I love we’re able to bring her with us.”

Tickets to the newly announced show go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. local time at Ticketmaster.com. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning tomorrow, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, Feb. 10 at 10 p.m. local time.

Presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum and fueled by MARATHON, Here And Now 2022 picks up where one of contemporary music’s greatest love affairs left off. Having sold over a million tickets every year of touring since 2002, Chesney has always been a man who takes his music to the fans, who can’t get enough of his live-your-life, make-some-memories kind of country.

Fresh from his 34th No. 1 “Knowing You,” Chesney has just released “Everyone She Knows,” a song that celebrates women who are their own compass and don’t get bogged down in how other people live their lives. With that set-your-sails-as-you-see-fit attitude and exuberance, it should make for quite a summer in No Shoes Nation.
