Palmetto State Folds of Honor & Credit One Stadium Announce Second Annual Freedom Fest

Lee Brice, Big & Rich perform to benefit local scholarships for families of veterans and first responders

Charleston, SC – The Palmetto State Chapter of Folds of Honor (FOH), a nonprofit organization providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military members and first responders, is holding its second annual Freedom Fest from November 4-5, 2022, at Credit One Stadium on Daniel Island.

The event features two nights of must-see musicians, including country music stars Lee Brice and Big & Rich and local favorites Edwin McCain and Lauren Hall. Hall and McCain open Freedom Fest at the VIP event Friday, November 4. Lee Brice and Big & Rich headline what will be an incredible night supporting our military and first responders at Credit One Stadium on Saturday, November 5.

“We are thrilled to return to Daniel Island for a weekend of great live music at this year’s Palmetto Freedom Fest. With the community’s support, we have the power to celebrate our veterans and first responders engagingly and memorably,” says Eric Timko, a board member with the Palmetto State Chapter of Folds of Honor. “Our goal is simple: two days, one mission. Not only are we honoring their sacrifices, but we are also helping educate their legacy.”

The dollars raised by the Palmetto Freedom Fest fund the mission of Folds of Honor to assist families of South Carolina’s veterans and first responders, funding private school tuition or tutoring in grades K-12, college, technical, or trade school tuition, and post-graduate work, including a master’s degree, doctorate, or professional program. In 2021-2022 academic school year 151 scholarships were awarded in South Carolina. For information about local South Carolina students who have received a scholarship see attached.

FOH intends to fill the Credit One Stadium floor with active-duty military, veterans and first responders.

We are looking for donors and sponsors to help us put over 900 Heroes in floor seats for the November 5 concert!  The South Carolinian community can Sponsor a Hero by visiting:
