Get ready to lace up your sneakers and embrace a morning of health and wellness at the 2nd Annual Daniel Island Health and Wellness Day, taking place this Saturday, October 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. This exciting event, held at Credit One Stadium, promises a morning filled with invigorating workouts, engaging activities, and opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals, all while supporting a worthy cause.
All proceeds from the event will benefit SOS Lowcountry, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to those in treatment and recovering from breast cancer.
The day’s schedule is as follows:
– Gates open at 8:15 a.m. for check-in
– Group warm-up session begins at 8:45 a.m., provided by JD Fitness
– Enjoy a round-robin event with multiple workouts throughout the morning, try one, or try them all
– Participate in workouts led by JD Fitness, The Bar Method, Michelle Gerardot of Elevate Yoga, and LTP Daniel Island Tennis and Pickleball
– Children can take part in a fun agility course provided by 180 Fitness
– Learn valuable tips and tricks for healthy cooking at a demo by Synchronicity
– Conclude the day with a peaceful meditation session led by Modern Minds
In addition to these exciting activities, there will be interactive vendor stations featuring products and services from iCryo, Chirospa, Coastal Kids Dental, Lavender and Lace, and Island Park Dermatology. Stay refreshed and hydrated during your workouts at our Hydration Stations, generously sponsored by Riverlanding Dentistry, Connections Counseling, and HyLo Charleston.
